Will the “AF” Acronym (As Fuck) Make It To Webster’s?

The new expression is ready

At first, I found the expression “retarded” (or excuse me, “challenged”). Working a minimum wage job on a movie set (I was an extra) in the famed Washington Square Park (Greenwich Village, New York), I was hanging out with a young Black kid (conversely, I’m chronologically blessed as in fucking old) I’d befriended on another set when I suggested we crash on a couple of cute girls who weren’t part of the TV show (they were smoking pot in the park while watching the scene unfold).

“Man! Those chicks are high as fuck. Look at them,” he observed, clearly not down with the program.

Thoughtful guy that maybe one other person might consider me, I couldn’t help but think to myself, “What does ‘high as fuck’ mean exactly?”

No matter. Before long, I’d caught the “as fuck” bug. Everything became something “as fuck” in my mind.

This coffee is hot as fuck.

This bike lane is congested as fuck.

My t-shirt is dirty as fuck.

That woman is hot as fuck.

This trail is steep as fuck (I’m a hiker.)
