Would You Swap Minds With A Baby?
What if it took you to Hollywood?
Body swap movies used to be all the rage.
Freaky Friday.
The Hot Chick.
Freaky Friday — The Lindsay Lohan remake.
But my favourite body swap mention came from the iconic Irish comedy, Father Ted.
Forget Spiderman. Remember Spiderbaby.
Inspired by Father Dougal’s priestly genius, I have devised a feature film based on the hilarity that ensues when an adult swaps minds with a baby. (If this isn’t deemed original enough for Hollywood — ha! — it can be adapted into a Broadway musical.)
Part/Act One
During the opening scene, a new father, Matt Ure-Knott, is out drinking with the boys in a strip club. The boys ask him how he managed to be allowed out so late, and he laughs, telling them it is a woman’s job to stay home with the baby.
