(Peavine landmark)

As the end of the weekend approached, Cassie and I opened a present we had gifted ourselves: anxiety generated by procrastination. Upon realizing this, we promptly packed our audio and digital equipment into the car and ventured off. Our first stop was at Peavine Branch, a nearby Mississippi Blues Trail landmark located in Boyle, MS. During our visit, we discovered what Peavine originally was, how the Blues artist, Charlie Patton, influenced the attraction, and attempted to levitate over the former railroad tracks.

(Superstitious skipping)

Although Cassie and I began the trip solely on the basis of academics obligations, we ended this weekend adventure with several invaluable memories.
