Spare Some Delta Change

For the last three years, the Mississippi Delta has served as my second home, a nest of change (a terrifying word to Taurean ears). My experiences in the Delta thus far have challenged me to abandon some of my narrow-minded beliefs and have encouraged me to, instead, balance empathy and objectivity. Throughout this course, I would like to capture personal images and narratives that illustrate the effects of change on individuals and communities within the Delta. My aim is to express emotional rawness. I hope to learn a variety of techniques in audio work and photojournalism, so I can accomplish my goal for this project and be better prepared for future assignments.
