“The Delta Blues to Me”

Learning how to mix audio, photography, and video to create a powerful, but fun story that any age can relate to would be my goal for this class. I was surprised hearing some of my high school students thoughts about the Delta. Most of the youth do not understand or see what the Delta has to offer because of the negative remarks form citizens within the area. I grew up in two small towns called Mayersville and Rolling Fork, and I love both towns! It is more to the Delta other than negativity that’s presented to us, such as: careers, low cost living, family oriented, etc. I’m ready for this semester’s journey!
