DODO is an Inaugural Member of Arbitrum’s Initial DeFi Cohort

We are thrilled to announce that DODO is one of the first decentralized applications (DApps) announced in Arbitrum’s initial cohort of DeFi projects. This integration furthers our core vision of bringing high capital efficiency and ample liquidity to multiple blockchains.

Key Highlights

• Out of more than 250 DeFi DApps that have signed up for integration with Arbitrum, DODO is one of the first to be announced as part of the platform’s initial cohort.
• DODO’s integration with Arbitrum means faster transactions and smart contract deployment, as well as lower gas fees.
• So far, DODO’s Arbitrum smart contracts have been completed and deployed on mainnet.

Layer 2 Scalability

Arbitrum is the first true layer 2 scalability solution created with full Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility.

On a practical level, this means that Arbitrum is poised to power extensive growth across the Ethereum ecosystem. As a layer 2 solution, it makes transactions on the blockchain exponentially faster and cheaper. DODO users should see a direct benefit from the faster transaction speeds and lower gas fees that Arbitrum provides.

Arbitrum’s EVM compatibility also makes smart contracts easily and rapidly deployable. This, in turn, makes the process of Arbitrum integration seamless for DODO developers.

So far, more than 250 projects have signed up to access Arbitrum’s mainnet developer launch, which took place on May 28th.

DODO’s V1 and V2 Smart Contracts Deployed, Full Integration Coming Up

Integration with Arbitrum has been underway since the mainnet was opened to developers on May 28th. As of June 2nd, DODO’s V1 and V2 smart contracts have already been deployed to the Arbitrum mainnet.

“The process of integrating with Arbitrum has been extremely positive,” said Owen Liu, DODO’s Senior Smart Contract Developer. “Since we began the process of integration in February 2021, Arbitrum’s developers have been very helpful and responsive to requests, even going so far as to review smart contract code before it was deployed on the mainnet.”

Over the next several weeks, the team will work to add frontend support for the Arbitrum mainnet, including wallet integrations.
