The mountains are old and have not been updated for millions of years. Nor have any new mountains been created. Streams intrude on paths. Changeable weather makes sunbathing pointless. Most of the mountains remain high and difficult to climb. It’s disappointing that there is little variation in colour other than green — mountains are predominantly green. There are no toilets. This is the Lake District. It gets 2 stars.
