New digital product ‘more reliable source of dopamine than social media’

It seems like everyday there’s a new disruptor on the scene — especially so in the AR realm. But AR’s latest arrival is particularly interesting because the industry it’s set on disrupting is one we know too well: social media.

“The social media model is fundamentally flawed. The only people it really benefits are its b2b market and advertisers. Essentially, the one thing it does offer users is dopamine. They get that from social interactions they engage in by using the platform.” CEO Cheri Pika explained to us.

“So we thought: what if there was a way to provide a guaranteed, continuous source of dopamine? That’s where PopulAReality was born. You can experience popularity in real time, in real life. With the app, your friends, colleagues and family no longer find you boring and monotone. Now you’re interesting and funny, and just generally delightful to be around.”

The app is currently in testing phase, with a release date set for 1st April 2019.
