Research and experimentation has meant that we have tested hundreds of bots on Messenger. Here’s some we think you will enjoy that we personally use :)

PONCHO

Fun, engaging and surprisingly useful on a daily basis! Poncho sends me a quick weather summary through Messenger every morning at 8am.

“ We’re looking at drizzle later with a high of 18°C and a low of 15°C today. And gusty winds. Left the house thinking this fun, new hat was #cool. Caught a glimpse of myself & now I’m like, “Oh no.”

HIPMUNK

The ultimate travel assistant. It’s not perfect yet but I see it very much as a glimpse into the future potential of conversation. The AI will only get more and more powerful.

“The average traveler runs 20 searches when planning a trip. Hello Hipmunk shrinks that process to one simple conversation. It can process tons of information from flight pricing to room availability and synthesize it instantly,” said Adam Goldstein, CEO and co-founder of Hipmunk.

THE GUARDIAN NEWS

News is the most obvious use case for a chatbot. Get a daily briefing or breaking stories sent straight to your inbox. Easy to read, easy to share. Scan the headlines and see whats going on in the world.

KLM FLIGHT BOT

KLM were a launch partner for Facebook Messengers launch of the bot platform. The biggest selling point is removing the need to sign in or confirm identity, its all done through Facebook. The default media options of Facebook also ensure that when an image is sent (ie your ticket or confirmation details) it is auto saved into your photo gallery so it’s easily retrieved at a moments notice.

Ask it questions and receive critical status updates in your inbox. The inbox is the new homescreen….so many people have turned off app notifications!

HELLO I’M JARVIS

A true personal assistant, this is very popular worldwide. I love using it for fun things as well as practical things. I use the Google keyboard app on my phone which allows me to dictate my messages by voice. Great to set reminders when driving.
