The events of May 1, 2023, may have unfolded unexpectedly for the murder victims of Jesse McFadden, but for others, they seemed in the making for years. Here is what we know about the horrible crime that rocked a small Oklahoma town to its core.

Two Missing Teens and a Grisly Discovery

The town of Henryetta, Oklahoma, first learned that 16-year-old Brittany Brewer and 14-year-old Ivy Webster were missing when an amber alert was issued for them on May 1, 2023. The search quickly turned to horror as the bodies of seven people, including the two missing teens were found on the rural property of registered sex offender, Jesse McFadden, in eastern Oklahoma later that same day.

Ivy’s mother told reporters that Ivy and Brittany had gone to spend the weekend with one of the other teenage victims at the McFadden home. The girls were planning on going swimming on a ranch in McAlester, but they never arrived. The grieving mother says she had no idea about McFadden’s criminal history. Likewise, the family of Brittany also knew nothing of McFadden’s past.
