Really? That’s the one book available for me to read?
As you might imagine from reading the recent news about the facility’s closure, my first few days at MCC federal prison were not comfortable. And not because I was emotionally unprepared for a shithole of that magnitude. (I’d done a lot of Googling and had spent a week at the Tombs, a New York City jail very similar to MCC.)
