The One That Got Away

The one famous prisoner I didn’t get to know

It wasn’t really a coincidence that I befriended and even cellied with a couple of very famous people during my year in the slam. My designated prison was MCC, a hunk of granite dropped smack dab in the middle of downtown Manhattan — and in the world’s greatest city (I know — debatable). Many celebrities have passed through the hallowed portals.




Prison is an experience like no other. But with the right frame of mind, you can come out a better person. Stories of spiritual uplifting live here.
