New hard cap, new team members and a big announcement coming up
New ITO Strategy
Over the last few weeks, we have been talking to consultants, investors and ICO advisors. They seem to be concerned about our large hard-cap of €92.5M. Since, we have an unusual ITO strategy, with virtually all the ITO money being used to buy property, we believe that the hard cap is easily explained. This distinction is only apparent under close inspection, however, and we understand that on the surface our hard cap appears to be very high.
So, as always, we have decided to listen to good advice and adapt our ITO as recommended. We have changed the ITO phases and will first complete phase I, purchase property with the funds raised, and demonstrate the execution of our strategy prior to starting the subsequent phases.
This effectively lowers the hard cap to €17.5M and the new figure has been added to the Dominium website already. We will also amend the White Papers and Pitch Decks (where needed) and will publish them as soon as possible on our site. You will recognise the updated white paper by the more recent date.
New Head of Development
We are very pleased to announce the latest addition to our team in Rotterdam, Erwin van Kekem, as Head of Development.
Erwin was co-owner and co-founder of Collin Crowdfund, which is now the biggest crowdfunding platform in the Netherlands for loans to small and medium sized companies. Erwin is joining the Dominium team at the Rotterdam head office, bringing his considerable expertise to the core development team. We are especially excited about what Erwin can bring to the table given his experience in creating a user-friendly interface, and his knowledge of risk and compliance.
Abuja Blockchain Conference
DOMINIUM has partnered up with the ABUJA BLOCKCHAIN & AI -ROUNDTABLE- at The Sheraton Abuja Hotel, Nigeria on 19–20 October, 2018

The conference, which is the first of its kind, will address blockchain and artificial intelligence technologies, explore their potential crossovers and applications in Nigeria, and globally. The event is being organised by Blockchain Nigeria User Group.
Crypto & Blockchain VC & Funder’s Meeting London
Mark Lloyd attended the “Crypto and Blockchain — Venture Capital and Funders Meeting” at the Institute of Directors (IOD) in Pall Mall on the 2nd October.
The event was in collaboration with the British Blockchain Advisory Council (BBAC) whose mission is to develop awareness among enterprises, developers, businesses and society by training them in the Blockchain space.
