Georgia on Our Mind
December 1, 2020 (MICHIGAN) — Like every political advocate eager to shift the next wave of legislative power, Done Waiting has Georgia on our mind.
The two runoff senatorial races will determine whether Democrats or Republicans hold majority power in the senate, and whether Senator Mitch McConnell will be forced to relinquish his conservative grasp on all legislative powers. Done Waiting realizes that all democratic and progressive hands are on deck to incentivize Georgia voters to vote like the future of our democracy depends on it.
Done Waiting is mobilizing our army of over three hundred volunteers to make tens of thousands of calls to encourage votes for Senatorial candidates Jon Ossof and Raphael Warnock. We made big splashes in electoral politics before, making over 76,000 calls for congressional candidate Adam Christensen and almost 20,000 calls pressuring Representative Debbie Dingell to support the Green New Deal. We are ready to contribute to the massive wave of progressive energy turned towards Georgia’s runoff elections.
We are Done Waiting for the Senate to serve the people. Georgia is on our mind, and on our agenda to make systemic change.
