What is the Internet?

The truth is, the internet is anything and everything. In recent years the internet has made the leap from a mode on internal communications, to a open air market where filled with endless variety. Shopping, communicating, and working only scrath the surface of what the internet has become in recent years. The internet is now a medium, allowing the creative mind to do with it what it wants. The possibilities are infinite and I think the internet cannot be labeled as something else other than what it is, like the way fire is fire and water is water. The internet is the internet.
