We just released a new pre-release version of Donna for some of our VIP users for testing. If you are part of the beta you should receive an email with a special download link.

So here are the new features that we are introducing today.

Search

When Donna tells you “I can’t find a definition for the term ‘Services’, should you define it?” our initial response is usually: “But I’m sure I did define it”. Which meant that you had to switch back to Word and search for it just to make sure. Well, now you can search right in the Donna app!

We plan to add more features to this search menu in the coming weeks. For instance, Donna will allow you to search specifically for defined terms (even if they are misspelled), specific types of clauses and more.

Ignoring Issues

Sometimes Donna finds potential issues that are not actually an issue. A good example would be if you’ve defined the term Payments to mean the transfer of money for the services, late fees and interest rates. If you now state that “the payment of the Payments shall be performed on the last day of the month” Donna might present a potential issue about the first use of payment not being capitalized (although her algorithms are constantly getting better at detecting these subtleties).

However, in this case that is exactly what we mean. And now you can tell Donna that this wasn’t actually an issue by selecting the annotation and clicking “This is not an issue”. If there are lots of similar issues you can also select “None of these are issues” which will ignore this and any similar issues in the document.

Your Donna AI model will also learn from this feedback and be less inclined to present issues like this in a similar context.
