Daily Post #459 Take the shot

Ok so hockey season is here again, so what better than starting the autumn off with a good ol’ Wayne Gretzky quote 🙂

Too often you find people (or yourself) saying things like “I wish I had done this” or “I wish I could do that” but haven’t because they might fail.

Well I can tell you one thing Wayne got right (amongst many) — If you never take a shot, you will never score a goal.

And another thing I can tell you from my own (bad) experience — there will never be “a good time” to act, and waiting for “that perfect opportunity” will most probably see you waiting until the cows come home.

So heck, take the shot, give it a try, who knows, you might just score….
