DIFFERENT KEYWORDS FOR DIFFERENT CAMPAIGNS
Many charities have multiple goals; a variety of projects they’re working on at any one time. Make it easy for your Finance Team to allocate funds collected from Donr Text Giving by setting up a Donr Text Giving keyword for each campaign — you’ll be able to see how much each individual keyword has raised, which will make it really easy for you to see which campaigns are performing best and which may need a little more promotion to secure the funds you were hoping for.
DIFFERENT KEYWORDS FOR DIFFERENT INDIVIDUAL FUNDRAISERS
To register with Donr, organisations must have a registered charity number from the Charity Commission in either England and Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland. Unfortunately, this means that individuals or fundraising teams looking to raise money for their favourite charity cannot register with us.
However, charities are more than welcome to register with us, then allocate each individual or fundraising team a separate keyword. For instance, imagine Katy Smith was running a marathon for your charity: ‘CHARITYKATYSMITH’ would be a perfectly acceptable Text Giving keyword which Katy could then promote to her friends and family as a way of raising sponsorship for her marathon run.
DIFFERENT KEYWORDS FOR DIFFERENT EVENTS
Holding a Christmas Fair? How about a Summer Ball? Having a keyword specific to a certain event, which is only promoted at that event, can help charities monitor how well that event has performed in terms of funds raised, rather than having all Text Giving donations go into their main Text Giving campaign.
It’s really easy to set up additional keywords in your Donr Dashboard. Simply sign into your account as normal, then click ‘New campaign’ from the navigation menu to the left side of your screen. You’ll then be able to choose your new keyword and get it set up. As with all of our products, there are absolutely no additional fees — we’ll simply take our usual 5% fee from any and all donations collected.
