Hi, I’m Yash, welcome to the DFTL newsletter. I’ll be taking you through the journey of 4 friends, who share the same mindset, but at the same time, are worlds apart.

Let me introduce you to our team. All four of us are B.E. students at BITS Goa, exploring the world of entrepreneurship, technology, and of course, Goa.

Noah Martins

Noah is a stand-up comedian and podcast host, who started to give people access to high level executives and entrepreneurs, and ask them questions that college students might have. He’s our “homegrown” Goan, who believes in living like you’re going to die in 6 months. He’s one of the most funny, creative and inspiring people I’ve ever met. He was also the school head boy.

Rohan Arondekar

Rohan is our business class only, ML genius. He prefers laughing at jokes over cracking them. He’s an energetic Maharashtrian trying to accomplish new things everyday. He’s an all rounder excelling at volleyball, education, AI/ML, and anything else you throw at him. He was also the vice captain of his school, which motivated the name for this podcast.

Rayan Doshi

If I were to describe Rayan in one word, it’d be “sophisticated”. He’s a business whiz and budding entrepreneur, who can talk money and meditation for hours, while keeping you entertained with his infamous chemical engineering jokes. His addiction for perfection and an inspiring work ethic can only be matched by his motivation to run a marathon. Rayan’s past leadership roles include computer monitor and assistant line monitor.

Yash Gada

Well not to brag but these guys love me. I’m a martial arts enthusiast, avid runner and a seasoned rock-paper-scissor pro. I will be dealing with everything newsletter related. You will always find me at the institute cafeteria at 5, sipping coffee and chatting with Rayan. I was assistant monitor from class 4 to class 9.

What to expect from this newsletter

Every Monday, you will receive an email from us, which will contain three sections. The first will be be a brief about the latest podcast, and some additional, interesting behind-the-scenes information related to the episode.

The second, will be an insight into the industry related with the latest podcast, in a super simple, easy to understand language.

The third will try to make you understand the motivation behind inviting that particular speaker. This section will be a perception of how we think, what we look for, and how we go about it.

I’m thrilled to invite you on this adventure we’ll be embarking on, and can’t wait to hear from you. I assure you that we won’t waste your time with clickbait-y content and meaningless blogs. The experience was intellectually stimulating for me, and I’m sure it will be for you too, so subscribe to this newsletter so you receive our latest stories right in your inbox.

Thank you, and have a nice day!
