Ready for takeoff
Travel has always been a large part of society. It takes you to places with different cultures, taste, and traditions that are celebrated all across the world. Travel can be educational or for fun, but because of the current situation in the world, traveling has come to a halt.
Once people are able to start traveling again, everyone will be on the move to get to somewhere that isn’t the same place they’ve been for the last two months — home. A good place to visit if you’re looking for some fun is Switzerland.
Switzerland, specifically the city of Lucerne, has some of the most beautiful architecture around. From beautifully crafted fountains with flowers all around, to detailed murals on the side of buildings, there is always something gorgeous to see.
You can also visit mountain tops in Lucerne and be in the clouds. There is a peaceful calm that comes with the quiet of being on top of Mt. Pilatus. Once you reach a certain point on the mountain, you can toboggan your way down. A wonderful rush that comes with a wonderful experience.
Switzerland isn’t the only place that’s good for a calm vacation, Venice and Verona in Italy are just as intriguing as Lucerne is.
Venice has a wonderful island where you can watch a glass blowing illustration. The process is fascinating and interesting. You can even go into their gift shop full of things made of glass and take home little souvenirs.
Gondola rides through Venice are as serene as you imagine they would be. You get to ride through the waters in Italy and see different hotels, stores, and shops that require a gondola just to reach the front door. The architecture in Venice is as wonderful and unique as the architecture in Switzerland.
Seeing the “love something” in Verona is a highlight in Italy. The story behind the … statue is intriguing and lovely, even if it is just a myth. The streets and shops couldn’t be more full of energy if they tried.
All in all, either of these two beautiful places would be a great idea to visit for when traveling. Whether you go by yourself or with your family, there is fun for everyone.
