You’re not a mom. You don’t get the day off.

ASSISTANT ALEXA:

So what? I have to work when no one else wants to just because I don’t have biological children?

NARRATOR:

This type of interaction happens in the workplace more often than you think. Single women who never had children of their own pick up the slack for women who have biological offspring.

ASSISTANT ALEXA:

Some of how I feel may be all in my head. Still, I feel there’s an assumption that if you’re past a certain age, and never had children, you don’t have anything better to do!
