DoorDash Welcomes Maria Renz As Our Third Outside Director
DoorDash is thrilled to welcome Maria Renz to our Board of Directors. Maria joins Stan Meresman and Dr. Shona L. Brown as our third outside director.

Maria joined online personal finance company SoFi in March of this year as Executive Vice President of SoFi Money, SoFi Invest, and SoFi Credit Card.
Prior to that, Maria spent more than two decades at Amazon where she built and ran multiple retail teams, including beauty, health and personal care, and grocery, and led the company’s Canadian business. Her insights into customer behavior helped drive adoption at major turning points for the company and led to the launches of Amazon’s Subscribe and Save program, One-Day Amazon Prime, and the no-box/no-label return partnership with Kohl’s.
As our newest outside director, Maria joins Dr. Shona L. Brown, who has been on the Board since 2019, and Stan Meresman, who joined in 2018. Shona is a veteran of Google’s executive team where she created and led Business Operations and People Operations, as well as a former partner at McKinsey & Company. She currently serves on the Boards of PepsiCo and Atlassian Inc. Stan formerly served as General Partner and COO of Technology Crossover Ventures. In addition to his role on DoorDash’s Board, Stan is a Board member and audit committee chair of Cloudflare, Snap, Guardant Health, and Medallia. He previously served on the Boards of LinkedIn, Palo Alto Networks, and Zynga. He served as CFO of two NYSE-listed companies for ten years.
