Food delivery workers who travel by bike in New York City more or less operate with impunity when it comes to the rules of the road. Which is to say we don’t obey them. Ride on the sidewalk? Of course. Run lights? Need you ask? Or go the wrong way? Take a wild guess. Obeying all those rules regular motorists operate within would cost us mightily. So we don’t. Personally, I break all those rules with care…
