The child in you — keep working on yourself

The child in you still believes you can, the child in you can see a beautiful world, the child in you can easily express the feelings, the child in you still wants to dream big and the child in you still exists.

When you were a child, you were not afraid of dreaming big, you were not afraid of trying, so what happened to those wings? Why are you afraid of flying? You were able to see the brighter side and you would never hide, in spite of those falls you still used to climb and now you are just crawling towards that dime.

We meet people in different phases of our life and we form unique connections, which we never thought will be part of our lives until they are. Whatever the connection is, you need to put some time in it, you need to invest in it to make it stronger. While nurturing those connections is important, it is also important that you don’t forget yourself on that journey. We put a lot in certain connections, so much so that it becomes difficult for us to imagine ourselves without that connection. Although caring and loving up to that extent is not wrong at all, but in that process and journey keep holding your hand and try to understand your needs also as you are trying to understand the needs of the connection.

Every one of us is different and we can only know someone as much as they want us to know and there will always be you who knows you more than anyone will ever know. You know you, but it doesn’t mean that you don’t need your own attention, you have so much around you that at times you need your mention. If you are not living for your goals and just passing through life, you need a shift, you are disappointing the child in you. When you were a child did you ever wanted to be what you are today? If the answer is “NO”, then why not? There will always be situations and circumstances that will exist, but they are not stopping you, you are using them as an excuse to stop you. Circumstances and situations in life will never come easy on you, they will always be ready to take you down, they are there to stay to make your life interesting. It is up to you, you want to take a challenge and make an interesting life or choose to avoid it to make a boring life.

The kid in you is looking up to you for all those dreams that you wove in the past, it was possible then, so why not now?
