DOS Network Monthly Report (April~May)

⚙️ Product and development

We’ve already released Beta public testnet v1.1 🙌🙌🙌 Any DOS Network supporters who can work with linux command line environment can join the public testnet and run a node, please check this README and follow the instructions. For developers, you can check here for documentations and examples of how to use our oracle service.

Beta1.1 currently includes following functionalities:

• Verifiable Secret Sharing
• Distributed Key Generation (Pedersen’s DKG approach)
• Paring Library and Threshold BLS Signature
• Distributed Randomness Generation
• Gossip & DHT Implementation
• P2P NAT Support
• Json / Xml / Html Request Parser
• Dockerization and Client Deployment Script
• Integration with Ethereum On-chain System Contracts

With more features to be prepared for the future releases:

• Test with geth lightnode mode and experiment with parity clients
• Staking & Delegation Contracts with a User-friendly Dashboard
• Network Status Scanner/Explorer

🤝 New Partnership

• DOS Network has achieved a strategic partnership agreement with DUO Network. Both parties will be dedicated to reducing risks and barriers in traditional derivative transactions, through collateralized smart contracts and distributed price feeds, thereby accelerating the development of tokenized crypto derivatives and promoting the large-scale adoption of Dapps.

🙌 Events

• DOS Network built and opened official announcement channel. We welcome and encourage every DOS Network supporters to join it to keep track of all the updates of us with just one click.
• Qi Wang, DOS Network’s co-founder & COO was invited to attend a forum in Bitalk community which is dedicated to providing users with information and community service about fresh and interesting blockchain and digital currency. Qi expressed his insights about the ecosystem of Ethereum.

• Xiaohu Sun, DOS Network Operations & Business Development Manager, was invited to attend “ 2019 Staking Economy Offline Meetup” as a special guest in Beijing.

• DOS Network announced the result of the first round of the Global Ambassador Program. Thanks for all of your passions and supports. We selected 10 ambassadors for 8 different places and built the official telegram community group for each of them. Our Global Ambassador Program is still running and we welcome all the other eligible DOS Network supporters to apply for it!
• DOS Network has officially joined Binance Info’s V label initiative.

• Qi Wang, the co-founder and COO of DOS Network, was invited to attend The Global Blockchain (Hangzhou, China) Forum and participated in the intense IXO debate with the theme: New Posture of Blockchain Project Financing.

• DOS Network Operations & Business Development Manager, Xiaohu was invited to attend the Bitcoin Night — “A Gathering of Believers” on May 20th in Beijing.

• DOS Network Operations & Business Development Manager, Xiaohu was invited to attend “Global Partners Meetup” held by HiCoin, an open source all in one bitcoin, peercoin and crypto community platform.

• DOS Network jointly held an event about the cross-chain technology in the blockchain industry with RebaseTalk and Lianchaguan in Beijing on May 26th. The special guests are Yi Liu and Ni Li. Yi Liu is the co-founder of Random Capital, Master from Tsinghua University, having 20 years of investment experience in various capital markets, early investors in Bitcoin. Ni Li is the global Vice President of Wanchain, co-founder of WanLab blockchain incubator, expert member of CECA BCPC ( China Electronic Commerce Association Block China Professional Committee)
