⚙️ Product and development
Node runners with several technical backgrounds and feel comfortable with command line environment could fill in this form and follow the guidance here to start a testnet node.
Released beta#1.2 with main features:
- Simplified client configuration and startup process, elaborated documentation, on-boarded more external node runners.
- Peer-to-peer network connectivity error handling and upgraded to geth 1.9.2 light client.
- Updated system proxy contract with node unregistration and grouping strategy.
- Code complete and tested reverse-swap token bridge from BEP2 to ERC20.
🤝 New Partnership
DOSNetwork has achieved a strategic partnership with @UNetworkHQ! Both parties will cooperate jointly promoting the development of decentralized UGC platform and contribute to the prosperity of the blockchain economy.
🙌 Events
- On July 20th, 2019 DOS Network launched a trading competition on Binance DEX with a prize pool of 1,400,000 DOS & 400 BNB rewards for winners. The trading competition lasted more than four weeks and officially ended on August 18th, 2019. Over 1300 DOS Network supporters participated in our competition and got rewards! Congrats to all the winners and thanks for your supports.
- On August 8th, DOS Network jointly conducted the “DeFi the world series live AMA” session #2 with Course Link，Hydro Protocol, and CHAINNEWS inviting Zoe Xiong, the CMO of ONEROOT and Jay, the co-founder and CMO of Loopring to discuss DEX3.0 and share their insights on shared liquidity with us.
- BEP2 DOS token holder airdrop successfully completed. We took the snapshot on August 18 00:00 UTC and all the eligible participants have gotten rewards. Thanks for all the supports from DOS Network users and Binancians.
- On August 24th and 25th, DOS Network CEO and co-founder Siyuan Hua was invited as a special guest and instructor to attend Hackathon held by ETHPLANET. Siyuan delivered a speech introducing various aspects of DOS Network and threw out some questions and suggestions for participating teams. After a 2-day competition, three teams stood out and received rewards.
