This Is How Failure Is Actually A Positive

The picture above sums it up quite well.

Failure isn’t a bad thing. Even though we’ve been conditioned to think that. I’d venture to say that failure is actually a positive.

You may have seen the meme of the acronym F.A.I.L. standing for

First Attempt In Learning

Every time you fail, it’s not a negative, it’s actually a learning experience.

It’s when we have failures along our path of life that we learn, grow, change and move forward.

Be grateful for all the times you have “failed”, and change your perspective on them. It isn’t a bad thing. It doesn’t make you a loser. It is an important stepping stone along the way. It might cause you upset, shame, embarrassment, anger, when you don’t achieve whatever it is you’ve been striving for.

And that’s okay. You’re allowed to feel however you feel about falling short of your goals. But that doesn’t mean it’s the end and that you should just give up.

No! Take a moment to pause and examine what happened and figure out what you can learn from this temporary pit stop, this temporary bump in the road of your journey, that maybe it has thrown you off course a little bit, but you’re still moving forward in the right direction…a little detour might just mean it will take a bit longer to get there than you thought, but keep pushing forward, keep persevering and you’ll get there eventually, sooner than later. You might just have to be patient.

And these so-called “failures” actually make us stronger. They make us more resilient. They make us realize that we can do things if we just keep going. Failures give us more tools in our toolbox. And we’re actually better off than those who don’t fail! Those who just breeze on through. Because we’ve learned from what’s gone wrong, from what hasn’t gone our way, and…
