Am I alone here on Medium in what I’m experiencing? Yes? No? I’m not sure — maybe others can chime in here!

The Medium algorithm is a mysterious beast.

I have almost 2000 followers (and thank you to everyone who follows me — I appreciate you!).

But I have to wonder:

how often do those followers actually see my content?

It feels like not many.

Or maybe people just don’t enjoy my content and that’s why I’m not getting much engagement?

And by engagement I’m talking of visual engagement such as claps and comments on my articles.

2000 followers (well, almost) is a fair number of people, I think.

Imagine that number of people in a room. Depending on the size of the room, that would be a packed space.

Even in a conference sized room, that would be a pretty full audience.

So because it feels like crickets on my content, I have to wonder, who or how many of you out there are actually coming…
