Here’s How To Remove The Kardashians From Your News Feed
You no longer have to “Keep Up With The Kardashians” if you don’t want to. 🙌
Ahhh… the Kardashian-Jenner family. They’re like America’s version of the Royal Family — except I don’t think anyone wanted it to be that way. Don’t get me wrong — I have absolutely nothing against the family, but I grow tired of being force-fed information about a family I have no attachment to.
Kim wore this, Khloe said that…it’s all too much for me. Well, thanks to a simple browser extension, I no longer have to live a Kardashian-filled life — and neither do you. Similar to the phased out #KardBlock app, the Google Chrome extension Kardashain Filter reads the data on whatever web page you’re on and blocks out anything with the word “Kardashian.” No, it doesn’t just block out the word Kardashian, it actually blocks out an entire piece of content that mentions anything that has to do with the entire family.
If you have the Google Chrome browser, download the Kardashian Filter extension and refresh your browser. All traces of the family will be taken off your screen and the extension will even let you know how much Kardashian-themed content they have taken off of a single web page. If there are other celebrities you’re sick of hearing about, simply add their names to the settings so they can be erased from your life, too.
Of course, this sounded way too good to be true, so I tested out the extension on a Facebook friend’s page who I knew posted about the Kardashians on a regular basis. Without the extension, an article about Kim Kardashian jumping onto the stage during a Prince concert pops up as usual.
However, with the Kardashian Filter, it shows that my Facebook friend has posted something, but it will not let me know exactly what she posted.
It’s safe to say that the world can breathe a little easier without having to hear about the Kardashians 24/7. Now if I really want to keep up with the Kardashians, I can tune into the E! Network Sundays at 9/8c.
