Simone Biles is an inspiration to us all. The 19-year-old set a new American record for the most gold medals in women’s gymnastics at a single Olympics, she crushes on Zac Efron just like us and now she’s addressing ADHD like a boss.

After the four-time medalist’s medical records were revealed by Russian hackers in an attempt to expose doping by US Olympic athletes, it was disclosed that Simone suffers from ADHD. The leaked data shows she tested positive for methylphenidate, also known as Ritalin. Despite Ritalin being a banned World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) substance, the USA Gymnastics team released a statement saying they made an exception for Simone’s condition.

Simone also came forward saying she’s never broken any rules and that she’s not “ashamed” of having ADHD.

Simone is using this unfortunate situation to address the stigma of mental health—particularly ADHD—which is awesome and inspiring. In fact, according to the CDC, approximately 11% of 4–17 year olds have been diagnosed with ADHD.

Keep on being amazing, girl.
