On Friday, Jan. 20, President Donald J. Trump was inaugurated. The next day, an estimated 3 million people worldwide rallied at the Women’s March. And on Sunday, it rained like hell in Los Angeles.

People needed a place to scream that weekend.

That’s why we created “Scream Room,” a safe, inclusive place for people to vent—for as long as they wanted, about whatever they wanted—in a sound-dampening booth in Silverlake. Some laughed. Others cried. Everyone felt a weight lift off their shoulders, knowing their voices were heard loud and clear.
