Tundra Esports is the champion of The International 11, congratulations.

The meta actually shifted quite hard in the playoffs. Heroes being picked or banned have massively dropped from 115 in group stages, and it is also lower than the previous TI (96 and 91 respectively).

Games: 48
Total Heroes: 123
Picked: 89
Banned: 83
Untouched: 23

More heroes are not picked, and some heroes are highly contested but none of them goes above 90%, it is quite a diverse meta
There are fewer dominating heroes but also more heroes are not touched in the playoffs

Most Contested Heroes

Marci is still the most contested hero but she is not actually that dominating, it highly depends on who plays it and how the team plays around it.

After all, Primal Beast is overrated, when teams are more prepared and bait him to charge in, he has no way to escape, and messes up the whole fight. It can be seen in relatively lower K+A/D.

Most Picked Heroes

Since the success in the group stage, more teams are trying to pick Crystal Maiden, but teams also find more ways to counter her, making her a balanced pick.

Leshrac is one of the best mid and tempo heroes, but it really depends on spike and timing, Tundra showed how to counter him, pulling his win rate down in the last few games.

Tusk had a 68% win rate in groups which makes every team pick him, funny that he has a 100% win rate when played as a core, where all games were played by Nine of Tundra and he won all of them, but when he was played as a support his win rate drops to 35.71%, and Boxi is only the one has success with him.

Most Banned Heroes

As many analysts have said, Wraith Pack has defined the meta, which makes heroes that rush it being banned, thus Enigma and Broodmother in this list. They can rush Wraith Pack as the first item and push towers and lanes quickly, providing the much-needed spike for team fights. But Enigma is still too slow on that.

30% damage reduction has proved to be too strong

Highest Win Rate Heroes (pick ≥ 3)

Mirana is such a specific hero of SnayKing, 8 out of 13 times it was picked by Tundra, and they won all of them, SnayKing contributed 7 of them. Apart from extremely accurate Sacred Arrow, Tundra was able to utilize Moonlight Shadow so well that gave them lots of advantages.

Brewmaster is another Wraith Pack hero, but he was only picked in the last phase where all other better options are banned.

Drow Ranger, Lina, and Sniper were the siege option after the drop of Shadow Fiend.

Lowest Win Rate Heroes (pick ≥ 3)

The weakness of Shadow Fiend has been exploited and his win rate dropped by 45%. He is too vulnerable if being focused, or out-carried by true hard carries.

Lich is the answer to all the pushing power like Sniper and Lina, Chain Frost is also a great weapon for enemies that stacks together for the aura buffs.

Tiny has also gained more picks after Marci is always banned and Primal Beast loses the favor.

Highest Pick Rate Decrease

Undying is not bad, it is more a problem teams prioritize heroes like Crystal Maiden and Lich.

One of the most surprising things is the missing of Lone Druid, like Liquid said in comms, he should work.

Peak Hero Performance

Scepter on Clockwerk really boosts his damage a lot, but most of them are cheap damage when scouting with Rocket Flare, in team fights, he gets killed quickly after initiation, lacking the chance to do more damage, buying Scepter also decreases his survivability.

The abnormal heal comes from Underlord purely due to the 107-minute game between RNG and Entity, Wraith Pact aura singlehandedly provided 20k healing, and 16k of it is done on Terrorblade.

Faction

The last pick has a crazy advantage due to no actual favorites to contest, when most heroes can work, responding to picks is so much easier.

Hope that I can finish other related articles quickly.
