Being a photographer was something of a real skill and art back in the day, but due to the easily available and cheap cameras people can buy, it means that anyone and everyone can call themselves a photographer. Especially as mobile phones these days have such good cameras on them, and nearly everybody has one and in their pockets.

Getting work experience in the industry is always a good thing to have even if you don’t want to necessarily go into that specific line of work.
