Women football for Brazil means a space for libration, for conquer, for escape. An event hosted in Manchester National football museum discussing women’s equal engagement and how it affects their position within important national narratives.

During the conference, Silvama Goellner introduced the experience and development of the women football of Brazil.

Although prohibited, some women continued to play it. Though the 1950s,1960s and 1970s women suffered the effects of the ban and their football fell into obscurity. Legal restrictions contributed to curb the expansion of their participation and inhibited the appearance of any records on women’s football.

Do you still think football just for man? This must be wrong, probably in the future, lots of women football organizations have chance to be known and come out.
