Clearly, Educative is more popular than DataCamp just going by Google’s search trends as shown in the screenshot below. Though DataCamp has raised more money than Educative but caters only to the Data Science niche. Educative.io, on the other hand, takes a bold approach and offers courses on its platform covering the entire spectrum of tech. Essentially, both are market places for online courses, some written by independent authors while other written by the platform’s content team.
Educative.io’s offers diverse courses but lacks the concentration and depth of Data Science content and material available at DataCamp. If you are looking to work in the Data Science field then DataCamp is for you hands-down. However, if you are looking for a broad exposure to emerging technologies or go to reference guides then Educative is your cup of tea. For now, Educative has the following AI/ML/DataScience courses available:

However, the one glaring omission DataCamp suffers from is the absence of any interview related content, which Educative.io covers well with its Data Science Interview Handbook course. All in all, it feels much like comparing apples to oranges when comparing Educative vs DataCamp since the goals of both the platforms are different. However, Educative can give DataCamp a run for its money, if it catches-up and offers Data Science course in parity with DataCamp.
