Here Comes National Coloring Book Day !
Five easy steps to get your color on!
If you just started coloring or if you’re an old hand, let Dover help you to celebrate National Coloring Book Day on August 2 with five easy steps to get your color on!
So let’s get ready to rumble! It’s easy!
Step One. Visit coloringbookday.com and sign up for a FREE mini coloring book and free coloring pages. These are high-quality images from Dover, created by some of your favorite Dover artists. There’s even an exclusive design by artist Jessica Mazurkiewicz just for this year’s event!
Step Two. Find a coloring party near you or throw your own (and register it on coloringbookday.com). You and your friends deserve the brain-break that coloring provides. Share your favorite pencils or pens with other party-goers. You could also use National Coloring Day as family-time. When was the last time you sat down with your kids, spouse, parents, siblings, cousins, in-laws, and had a great time doing something relaxing together? It’s impossible to focus on phone screens and computers when you’re making great art with your own hands!
You can also look for a coloring party near you. Check out your local library or book store and join one already scheduled or in progress. You’ll make friends and do something fun in a relaxed atmosphere.
Step Three. Color all by yourself! Sometimes the most relaxing date you can make is the one you make with yourself. If you need some head space and me-time, coloring is the perfect mini-getaway.
Step Five. Go ahead…splurge on a few new books! There are so many great Dover coloring books! You can order from the web site or stop by your favorite arts and crafts store and see what they have on stock. There’s no shortage of great images to color.
Here’s a plus-one step: You can register for all kinds of cool free stuff as well as learn about new releases on the Dover web site. Dover’s always got something new on the way.
