Is Searching For Pollution the Way to Find Aliens
Per NASA, we have discovered and confirmed about 4,000 exoplanets. That’s not a static number, since the first discovery in 1990, the number of planets discovered has doubled every 27 months. Our ability to see the night sky from the surface of the Earth is decreasing as light pollution increases. Fortunately, the telescopes that may be able to see and measure the atmospheres of exoplanets are already scheduled for launch.
