Trump Willing to Shut Down Government Permanently
Some guy named Mulvaney who works for the Great Cheeto claims that Trump is no longer sure we need a government at all.
“Maybe it would be best to shut the whole thing down,” said Mulvaney. “That’s what he’s thinking now.”
Nancy Pelosi did not respond to the latest Trump threat, but I guess that doesn’t matter if there isn’t going to be a government any more.
“We need a wall,” tweeted Trump. “And if you don’t give me one, I’m going to shut down American democracy once and for all.”
CNN commentator Charles Lackey speculated that Trump’s latest gambit could pay off.
“His base will be happy,” said Lackey. “But I’m not sure we’re ready for a monarchy.”
At press time, about 45 percent of Americans said they would serve King Trump as his loyal subjects. The other 55 percent agreed that American democracy no longer works, but wanted more time to think about it before they answered the question.
