Dear Prime Minister Shinzo Abe,

We hereby request that you nominate us, too, for the Nobel Peace Prize. We here at the Dingle have been doing a lot for the cause of peace.

Did you know that we lampoon both the left and the right?

There is a terrible political divide in the world today, sir, and we need people like the Dingle to skewer the whole political spectrum of tomfoolery.

We have brought a lot of peace to people who wonder, “Am I the only person who thinks this is crazy?”

For instance, we think it is kind of crazy that Trump first asked you to nominate him, then bragged about it.

If you nominate us, sir, I promise we won’t brag. We won’t even tell anyone. It will be our little secret.

Thank you sir.

Yours truly,

The Dingle
