May 9, 2019. A motion was presented to the City Commission to fill the FEC slip, between the AA Arena and Maurice Ferre Park. Did it pass? A downtown resident and citizen journalist reported: “The motion to fill the FEC slip was amended to only study it and provide a report in 90 days. The motion to rescind the objection to filling the slip was deferred to the Sep 12 commission meeting.”
