Stop This Nonsense

I have traveled to at least 40 countries and of course numerous cities. My main activity is visiting historical landmarks, parks, botanical gardens and museums.

I have yet to find any city anywhere which exploits its natural areas with garbage advertising.

Stop this nonsense of wasting every one’s time on trying to make a buck by placing any type of advertising in Miami’s natural areas and parks.

LED Billboards in Public Parks

Open letter to City of Miami Commissioners

October 12, 2022

Commissioners,

I am OPPOSED to any LED or Regular Billboards being placed in any City of Miami Park.

The commercialization of our Public Parks throughout the City of Miami with Billboards is UNACCEPTABLE! The City of Miami has plenty of Money. There is no good reason to exploit our City of Miami Public Parks except CORPORATE and PERSONAL GREED.

Commissioners, be a Representative for the Residents in your District and vote NO to BILLBOARDS in our Public Parks.

Eileen M Bottari, Parks Activist
