Five things to keep in mind

  1. MOT/Counter flow set-up will begin on Thursday 03/24 — the drop-off of equipment/barricade set up takes several hours — full traffic conditions expected to be implemented by 6am.
  2. NE 3 Avenue is very narrow — the avenue now has set-up for restaurants/eat out atmosphere on the curb/parking spaces — a full shift will be implemented so that only southbound is allowed on NE 2 Street at NE 3 Avenue — Vizcayne residents can exit their building and head south on NE 2 Avenue and West on NE 1 Street — No northbound on NE 3rd Avenue from NE 1 Street. There will be officers present to facilitate — a 2 way on that avenue will create confusion and a traffic/pedestrian safety issue.
  3. Use any decals that were provided to your community.
  4. Be aware of heavy traffic patterns and wait times to get to where you are going.
  5. Ubers/ Lyfts and other Rideshares will be “geofenced” from the area, that means they will not be allowed in certain areas of downtown.
