The only Downtowner elected official, Eileen Higgins, a college president, Beatriz Gonzalez, and the distinguished urbanist Juan Mullaret in conversation with DASS and downtown residents. No politics. No private agendas. Just intelligent conversation.
The Salon is divided in four sections
1. Higher education and democracy. 2. Integrating society through urbanism, including parks and streets as community centers and venues. 3. Government and community participation. 4. Art and culture in community building.

About Downtown Arts + Science Salon (DASS)
The motto is simple: Rediscover the art of conversation over a glass of wine, or two. Salons take place in downtown’s iconic venues. For now, the safety of Zoom must do, and the comfort of one’s home.
When and How
April 13, 2021. 7 pm. Via Zoom. Space is limited. It’s free but RSVP required.
