PlayDapp MarketPLAce — Micro Update
Small changes leading to a bigger and better MarketPLAce
PlayDapp’s MarketPLAce has been running live for around a month now, and while we’ve seen some small traffic and growth we recognize that there’s plenty to do!
But before we get into that, we’ just have to remind you that our open event! Every single fee has been waived, that's’ right list any time, and sell with 0% fees! It’s an awesome launch period event and we couldn't be happier to keep it running!
We’ve been steadily working on behind the scenes updates, improving useability and reliability and all things that you’d expect in a BETA environment.
While a large number of these updates have been under the hood and designed to go unnoticed we had to draw your attention to at least one of these near-invisible changes.
Improved Search Bar logic.
When the MarketPLAce first launched you needed pinpoint accuracy to search, needing to plug in the full name of the NFT you were looking for. Not any more! Typing any letter now brings up a mini list of corresponding items.
So taking ‘R’ as an example you’ll see that related NFTs names pull up in an alphabetical dropdown. It’s a change that will help massively as the type of NFT listed grows and expands across games and platforms.
Mobile ready and more to come
We launched with the PlayDapp MarketPLAce ready to be used on mobile devices. With super-smooth scaling and easy useability.
However, we knew there were improvements to make and ways we could go about it. So we’ve been making sure to plug away at making things like search better, not just on the web but on mobile devices too.
So we’ve been cooking up a little bit extra ease of use for deeper searches. Making sure that filtering works to the nth degree on mobile. — you can get a sneak peek below.
And the rest…
So what else have we been doing? We’ll we’ve been:
- Boosting reliability.
- Improving loading speeds
- Improving wallet connection reliability
- Quickening the recognition of acquired items from game to MartketPLAce
- Bug squashing- both visual and technical
- Improving messaging — such as the clarity on the first time you link and list an item.
- And whole bunch more of these -mini-updates just to make the place look a bit tidier!
We can't wait for you to start getting the most out of the PlayDapp MarketPLAce. And we're eagerly looking forward to getting more out there.
