COMPEL EXPLOSIVES, Brazil is a leading drilling & blasting contractor. They are in this business since 1963 and have their own Quarry in Izaira, acting. They have a specialized team for drilling and blasting, and have demonstrated excellence in many big dam projects, pipelines, roads and quarries.

Today COMPEL is using 11 hydraulic drill SONIC-3500 (for excavators with Drilling attachments from WOLF) on a big project called UHE, AHE railroad. With this Drill from WOLF, they are able to drill safer and also drill in areas not possible with a regular self-contained unit. Using SONIC 3500, COMPEL is drilling over 450,000 linear foot per month with a diameter of 3.1/2" ( roughly 133,000 mtrs per month i.e. appx 45m / hr per drill )

COMPEL Technical Director Ing. Luiz Bernardes highlighted “the partnership with WOLF of over 20 years and that they were using the Hydraulic Attachment from WOLF for over 6 years and are gradually replacing their self-contained pneumatic drills. “We are getting more Production, Flexibility and less Maintanance Cost”.We are getting a big advantage working with these equipment, as they can reach in difficult areas that are difficult for the self contained units.
