The Merchants Guild controls the entire High Market and especially the food sector, as they provide most of the meat on the market by promoting large hunting and fishing expeditions on the high seas. The Leader of the Merchants Guild is Witzel Gest, known as Doctor, a former merchant of medicinal herbs.
Witzel Gest was always an explorer merchant, he made a lot of money selling products never before seen in Markevia, and because he had no fear of death, he always ventured into dangerous places in search of things that could provide him with a high exchange value.
Thus Witzel began to understand some of the properties of the Draconian flora, experimenting with countless combinations and reactions of flowers and plants for years so that he could increase the value of his products. And this is how Witzel became the first and only medicine seller in all of Markevia for years.
