PikaDragon Race Processing System — Quick Guide
PikaDragon is a race processing system that makes dragon boat races easier to manage. It also publishes all race data and results to a mobile app instantly. Participants and official can look up data comfortably, wherever they are.

How it works
- When most of the entries are confirmed, organizer copy-and-paste team entries into the system.
- Then, arrange race program easily, and produce a start list
- Publish the start list and race program on mobile app. Print paper or PDF copy from same source
- On race day, simply enter time results of each race. Race results easily published to mobile app
- Progression to subsequent rounds are automatically processed. Updated start list of subsequent rounds automatically appear in mobile app. People can instantly find out who they will be racing against in subsequent rounds.
- Marshalling officials can find out instantly from mobile app lane arrangement of any race
- Ceremony officials can present award by looking up final results at the mobile app

Accessing your Race Page
You will be given an 8-characters access code to edit your page, and to upload data. Go to https://our.pikapage.com/login, and enter the access code:
Pre-Race Preparation
When entries are submitted
Once you have received most of the team applications, it is a good idea to start publish the list of participating teams to the app. People are keen to know who they will be racing against in each category. It also helps to let people know early that they can now access all data on an app.
Tell people to download the free app
Share this link http://onelink.to/pikadragon to your audience, on your website and facebook page, for people to download the free app.
Upload list of teams
Copy the team names to the Excel template provided.
Access your page, and upload the Excel data in a few clicks.
When heats/preliminary lineup (the Start List) is decided
This is another chance to increase participant engagement. People can find out which heats they have been allocated, who will they be racing against, and can start to think about what crew to put in.
This is greatly enhanced by having an easy to read mobile format that people can read comfortably wherever they are.
Preparing the Start List
After the team draw, you can easily create the start list of heat rounds.
In the template provided, simply type in the Team codes. Then press Ctrl-T (T for Teams!) to convert the codes into full team names.
Late entries just came in, and need to add a Heat in the last minute? No problem. Just insert a race and add team codes. The print format Start List can be re-generated with one click.
It is then the same easy process to upload the start list to your race page (as in Uploading List of Teams above).
Automatic Progression (rank-based)
Some of our customers have races that are 5 or 6 minutes apart. When there is a dispute or when there is extraordinary incidents to deal with, the pressure at the control desk can be intense.
Now you can easily prepare automatic progression with PikaDragon.
It is simple enough. “#2/R001” means 2nd place of Race 001. The system will then automatically find out who that team was.
The description text after “#2/R001” is optional, and can be in any language.

On Race Day
By now, participants know to browse the start list comfortably on their mobile phone, and start discussing strategy, getting all excited for race day to come!
On race day, people will be able to see race-by-race results from the app. They can also see instantly which race they will go into in the next round, and who are their opponents.
Entering Race Results
You can print this results sheet for paper record if needed. Some PikaDragon customers have decided to go completely paperless!
After posting results of a race, it is just a couple of clicks to publish to the mobile app.
