1. General
What is Revain
Revain is a first blockchain-based review platform. Our goal is to give a crypto community a single source of trustworthy feedback about projects and exchanges, which you can rely on when it comes to making an investment decision, trusting your money to an exchange or making your product/service better.
Revain offers Authors a powerful tool to spread their reviews among the crypto community, draw attention to project’s problem or point out to the scammers. Besides that, Revain has an incentive system which is motivating Authors to write more high-quality reviews.
Revain offers companies a tool for marketing their project/exchange and communicating with their users and token-holders. Companies can promote themselves among the crypto community by moving higher in the overall ranking.
Brief history of the company and main events
May 2017 — Revain was started by Rinat Arslanov, long-time entrepreneur and blockchain enthusiast
September 2017 — crowdfunding was concluded, raised 2108 BTC
October 2017 — team hiring, listings on first exchanges
November 2017 — the first version of the platform
January 2018 — listing of the first projects such as Bitcoin and Ethereum
February 2018 — listing on major exchanges (KuCoin, HitBTC, OKEx)
March 2018 — the launch of ‘Exchanges’ section on the platform
April 2018 — corporate account and user karma system launch
May 2018 — Revain takes part in CoinDesk’s Consensus
July 2018 — Premium subscription launch
October 2018 — full-scale version 1.0 of the platform released
November 2018 — integration with BTC-Alpha exchange, Revain platform’s redesign
Why Revain?
Authentic feedback
Revain is about real and authentic feedback formed by a diverse group of token holders and users, so your users can make up an objective view of the project/exchange. Authenticity and quality of reviews are the main focuses of Revain. Most studies say that people trust reviews written by other people rather than advertising or marketing campaigns. Great reviews can heavily influence people’s opinions when it comes to using your product or investing in your token.
Live content
Revain can add up dynamic content and real user experience to your service. The number of reviews is constantly growing, so your users will see the most up-to-date feedback.
Reviews quality
Revain goal is to be the platform where reviews will have a real value and be helpful. Users are allowed to write reviews which contain 100 or more symbols. Some people with deep knowledge and rich history of owning a token write comprehensive and detailed reviews. Besides that, our incentive system with RVN token allows the platform to have longer and more detailed user feedback.

Currently, Revain is in a stage where we have a fully working product and is focusing on polishing the platform, making some marketing & PR activities, partnerships, etc
More than 300 projects and exchanges are now listed on Revain. We have more than 7500 authentic reviews left on the platform.

Token R, volume, price, exchanges
We have an ERC-20 token with a label R. It’s in top 100 on Coinmarketcap. Current price is about 0,16 USD, volume ~ 2,2M USD, Total Supply — 484 450 000 R.
You can trade it on such exchanges as KuCoin, BTC-Alpha, Okex, HitBTC, Cryptopia and others.
2. Product
Product description
Revain is a blockchain-based review platform for crypto where users can leave their feedback on projects (and their tokens) and exchanges. You can find a project or an exchange either via search bar or via the the list which ranks every company based on Revain custom algorithm. Project rating is based on 4 scores — overall score, team, communication and progress. Exchange rating is based on overall score, support, withdrawal and registration process.
Besides reading and writing reviews you can see statistics like token price/volume/etc, buy tokens and like or dislike other authors’ reviews.
That’s the core functionality. Now let’s dive into the features which are unique to Revain.
Blockchain
Revain is the first review platform with a blockchain implementation. All user actions such as reviews and likes/dislikes are written in the blockchain, providing full transparency for the crypto community. No one can change or delete them, including the Revain itself. This makes review manipulation by any party nearly impossible.
To look at all reviews written in the blockchain we have a special page in the bottom of the site called “bloсkchain”. From there you can track all user actions which are happening on the platform.
Blockchain
AI
Revain AI checks all reviews, filters out low-quality reviews and makes high-quality ones eligible for rewards. It’s is a complicated system which analyzes both the usefulness of a review and its quality. Among other things, AI ensures that your reviews are unique and written by you personally. By a high-quality review, the system means a detailed description of one’s own experience and opinion regarding a project or an exchange.
AI evaluates reviews based on a large number of parameters and gives an assessment of the written text. Users whose reviews have been rated as ‘Good’ and ‘Excellent’ are eligible for rewards.
Rewards system, RVN Token
Revain is a review platform with a particular focus on content quality. To achieve this, we have developed an incentive system for users. On Revain, projects and exchanges have an option to award authors for high-quality reviews with tokens.
Precisely for this purpose, we created a second token called RVN token. RVN is Revain’s inner token. It is used only inside the platform and can’t be bought on open markets. Users can withdraw RVN from the platform by exchanging it on R token, which is traded on many major exchanges.
In the future RVN will also serve as a payment method for services within the Revain platform. Each company that enters the platform can reward users for high-quality and useful reviews at will. Companies can choose from 0,1 RVN to 100 RVN reward per review. RVN is absolutely a stable token and is bound to US dollar. 1 RVN = 1 USD.
Ranking
Revain custom algorithm ranks all projects and exchanges based on their popularity and people’s impressions, which can help quickly understand the general quality of the project/exchange. A large amount of high-quality feedback will move a project or an exchange higher in an overall ranking. That is one of the reasons why companies will be interested to reward the authors.
Premium subscription
For companies (projects and exchanges) Revain offers Premium subscription. It’s designed to turn Revain into a useful tool which helps to improve project’s reputation.
Communication with the public is absolutely the key for any crypto project’s reputation and perception among users. Revain subscription allows projects to reply to specific reviews which is a great tool for managing negative and encouraging positive feedback. For instance, you can smooth out a poor review by publicly replying to an author why he got negative experience and what you will do to make it better. On the contrary, you can thank the author for a positive review which will likely increase his loyalty to your product.
Revain API
Besides Premium subscription, we offer Revain API. Using it, companies which provide different services related to crypto (for instance, coinmarketcap or any exchange) can implement a widget with Revain ratings and reviews right into their websites. So, their users can read reviews on cryptos without leaving a website.
3. Team
Rinat Arslanov, CEO
Rinat is a founder of Revain. He is an entrepreneur with 10+ years in business, venture capitalist and a blockchain enthusiast. His business track record includes consumer electronic retail, call centre and apartment renovation. Rinat graduated from Yaroslavl Higher Military School of Air Defence and served in the army for ten years.
Alexey Belashenko, COO
Alexey is responsible for Revain’s day-to-day operations, administration and strategic partnerships. He is a lawyer and has a legal background. Before joining Revain, Alexey worked for companies specializing in e-commerce where he developed strategic sales plans and increased revenues.
Alexey Abramov, Head of Development
Alexey runs Revain development team and has a solid background of more than 10 years in program, portfolio and project management in software development in IT area. This includes all phases in implementation, deployment and support of different services and systems in Linux and Windows all around the world comprising multinational teams.
Alex Vonrims, СMO
Responsible for the general management of the company’s commercial unit, strategic planning of marketing activities and research of customer expectations. He is in constant contact with customers and partners, as well as controls everyday operations in marketing and the community. Alexey has 9 years of international marketing experience in FINTECH companies. Blockchain enthusiast since 2013.
Roman Ochnev, Lead Marketing Manager
As Lead Marketing Manager, Roman is responsible for day-to-day management of Revain’s creative team, consisting of community managers, copywriters and graphic designers. Roman works closely with operational and product teams to ensure that every outgoing material, such as a description of the new platform’s release or content of advertisement is consistent with Revain’s direction. He also helps developing relationships with exchanges and bloggers to help increase brand awareness. Roman previously worked as a Marketing Manager in a number of digital agencies and tech companies where he dealt with big international brands like EMC and VMware. Roman has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Moscow State University of Culture and Arts.
Anna Shatrova, Product Owner
Anna is running Revain product team responsible for all the features and design of the platform. She launched her first startup in 2014 and successfully sold it 2 years later. She has a 5+ year experience in a ‘lean’ product development and was certified by ‘Scrum Alliance’ as a Scrum product owner. She follows the agile product discovery best practices.
Elena Orsik, Global Communications, Public and Media Relations
Elena is responsible for creating international public relations and covers foreign media relations. Before joining Revain, Elena was in charge of strategic marketing and communications in foreign and Russian companies in Russia and abroad. Elena holds a bachelor’s and a postgraduate degree from Moscow State University n. a. Lomonosov in Russia and Master’s in International Relations and Management from Seton Hall University in the USA. She is a Fulbright scholar.
Vlad Bocharov, Graphic Designer
As a graphic designer for Revain, Vlad develops concepts, graphics, layouts and product illustrations. He also works on brand identity, patterns & concepts for documents, dashboards & sites, social networks, emails and newspaper covers. He does solution focused UI/UX elaboration. Vlad is holding a bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management at Saint Petersburg State Technical University.
4. Future
Upcoming updates
Revain is preparing tons of new features in the coming months. All of them are designed to expand the platform’s functionality and usability. These features include things like user replies to reviews (people can discuss every review in the comments section), token recommendations from top authors, premium account for authors and the top of all authors on the platform. Besides that, we are working on another redesign which will push Revain to the next level. Stay tuned!
Revain’s long-term goal
Revain’s ultimate goal is to become number source of different kinds of information about projects and exchanges for the crypto community. We want to create a platform where people will find help with their investment decisions. Should I buy this token? Is this project really that good? Can I trust this exchange with my money? People can find this kind of answers on Revain.
New markets
Reviews on ICO is just a start. We are actively researching different markets such as FMCG, gaming, e-commerce, bookings, etc. Right now we are pretty sure we will start with gaming. We think Revain can make a real difference there with our features like authentic reviews, blockchain, AI and reward system.
