For those who didn’t watch N(erd)FT Radio’s podcast, here’s a quick summary:

  • The Dragon’s Crossing website went live on Monday, March 27th. (1:35)
  • Game ready at launch on May 2023. (4:19)
  • Heroes are NFT’s. You need a hero to play the game. (9:56)
  • You can find other NFT’s while questing with your heroes. With the blockchain technology, you truly own these NFT’s and you can sell them if you want. (10:03)
  • The game doesn’t require blockchain transactions for every action. Most of the game is off-chain; only a few are on-chain. (10:34)
  • Hero inflation will not be exponential. Genesis Heroes are the first type of heroes. Rift Heroes are the second type and these can’t generate other heroes. Only Genesis Heroes control hero inflation; this will make the growth essentially linear. (15:41)
  • To summon Rift Heroes you need Summoning Shards. These shards are found by killing monsters while questing with Genesis Heroes. The drop rate of these Shards is low. (16:13)
  • The supply of Genesis Heroes is 2,800. There will be 2,500 available in the Public Mint, 50 reserved for the team, and the other 250 will be used for airdrops, marketing, partnerships, etc. (16:57)
  • Genesis Heroes and Rift Heroes will have the same opportunity to compete in the PvE seasons. The only advantage of Genesis vs. Rift is the fact that Genesis can find Summoning Shards. (19:21)
  • The Summoning Shard drop rate will be variable. It will depend on the supply/demand tension. The team can adjust it accordingly. (20:08)
  • There is only 1 token in the game: $DCX. You will need it to play the PvE Seasons, summon, and learn skills. Additional utility will be added in the future. (21:28)
  • The Genesis Hero mint price hasn’t been announced yet. It will be around $200–400. (23:07)
  • The mint date hasn’t been confirmed yet. It will be in May 2023. (36:25)
