Dragon’s Crossing is a browser-based, web3, Role-Playing Game (RPG) that launched on the Arbitrum One chain on May 31, 2023.

This is a FULL GAME at launch! Yes, you read it right.

In this article you will find a summary of what was discussed during Town Hall 14:

  • Genesis Hero minting has ended. The remaining un-minted heroes have been burnt.
  • The team minted 100 Genesis Heroes. These will be held in reserve for the project.
  • Rift Hero summoning has begun. You can now use Summoning Shards to summon Rift Heroes for a 10 $USDC fee. Remember: you don’t need to own a hero to be able to use a Summoning Shard.
  • One of the team’s priorities is bringing in new users. They will create incentives for this. One such incentive could be the project covering the cost of a Summoning Shard for new players.
  • Season 2 registration has been extended. The new deadline is July 12 at 11:50pm ET. This is to give people enough time to summon and register their Rift Heroes.
  • Skills were reworked. Most of them now scale and have higher skill point costs.
  • New skills could be added in the future. Potential for universal skills, not class-specific.
  • Multiple paths could be added in the future. Instead of always having to progress from Zone 1 to Zone 2 to Zone 3, there could be options with different risk/reward scenarios.
  • Big partnerships are in the works. These could bring thousands of players into the game but it’ll probably take a few months to realize.
  • The team is open to adjusting the season rewards structure. Anyone can develop a spreadsheet with a different rewards structure and propose it to the team.
  • Potential new game mode. This mode will be for people that are interested in the game but they want to get a better feel before buying an NFT. Think of it as a trial mode where you don’t get any NFT rewards, you’re not competing in the season and you only hace access to the first 2 Zones.
  • Perpetual game mode is not a priority. This is due to the fact that developing it would involve using resources and it seems hard to be able to monetize it.
  • Genesis Heroes will have voting rights.
  • A new NFT could be released in the next few months. These would be “companions” that would be equipable by heroes to give certain boosts, such as Chance to Hit or Chance to Crit. These will probable be airdropped to Genesis Hero holders.

This summary doesn’t include 100% of the information released in Town Hall 14. I encourage you to watch it completely to get all of the information.
